Automotive Light and Medium Duty Diesel Certificate of Achievement

This certificate provides theory and hands-on experience in automotive light and medium duty diesel systems including theory of operation, service, diagnosis, and repair. Light and medium duty diesel systems is an employment concentration area currently recognized nationwide. A Certificate of Achievement promotes employment advancement opportunities in the automotive field.

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:
  1. Describe the basic operation of the major vehicle Light/Medium duty vehicle systems.
  2. Describe basic diesel maintenance and service procedures.
  3. List safety procedures when in a shop environment servicing basic diesel vehicle systems.
