Architectural Technology AS Degree (transfer preparation)

The Architectural Technology Associate of Science (Transfer Preparation) degree offers courses with a broad perspective in Architecture practice, design and general education developed for students planning to continue their education toward a baccalaureate, or advanced degree in Architecture or related majors. Individuals will be involved in learning design theory, all aspects of the building design process, and project presentations of various building typologies.

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:

  1. Fulfill the requirements for an entry-level position in their field.
  2. Apply critical thinking skills to execute daily duties in their area of employment.
  3. Apply critical thinking skills to research, evaluate, analyze, and synthesize information.
  4. Display the skills and aptitude necessary to qualify for certification exams in their field.
  5. Exhibit effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Transfer to a higher level learning institution.
