Several College of the Desert locations throughout the Coachella Valley offer credit, non-credit, and not-for-credit college courses, and student support services.

College of the Desert — Desert Hot Springs
In the Fall 2016 semester, College of the Desert expanded its reach across the Valley and opened our College of the Desert – Desert Hot Springs location at the Edward L. Wenzlaff Education Center, 11625 West Drive in Desert Hot Springs. Here, students can take general education and transfer classes, basic skills coursework, career and technical classes, and Adult Basic Education coursework. In addition to taking classes, students also receive support services to guide them along their journey. Services include admissions and records, financial aid assistance, matriculation support (online application and orientation guidance), assistance with referrals/connection to resources on and off-campus, general COD and EDGE/plEDGE information and workshops, testing accommodations from our Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS), Food Pantry, and Course Textbook Reserves. College of the Desert — Indio 
The College of the Desert Indio Campus is located at 45524 Oasis Street in Indio. Since opening in February 2014, the site has seen tremendous growth. It recently opened its Child Development Center for adult learners in Spring 2024 and its second nearly 70,000 sqft building in the Fall 2024 term. With these additions, the District can proudly provide students with full degree and certificate options at our state-of-the-art facilities. Students can complete programs in Child Development Education, Liberal Arts, Psychology, EMT/EMR, Criminal Justice, and some business pathways. Our flexible class schedule allows students to pursue their educational goals during the day and evenings, as well as hybrid, accelerated, and hyflex. In addition to degrees, students may also participate in career training programs offered by the College's PaCE or Partners and Community Education program. Training includes Clinical Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Veterinary Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician. For more information, please refer to the PaCE Career Training Programs website.

The faculty and staff at the Indio Campus are also pleased to provide students with access to robust, wrap-around student support services. Students may see a counselor for assistance in several areas, including career exploration, transfer support, and personal counseling. Counselors from special programs in the areas of Adult Basic Education and GED Test Preparation guidance, Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), CARE (Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education), CalWorks, and Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) are also available to support students. On-site bilingual in Spanish staff are also available to help guide students through the application and registration process (for credit and non-credit programs), issue student ID cards, take fee payments, and offer in-person financial aid assistance.

At College of the Desert, we understand students have more happening in their lives than just school. Mental health services, transportation needs, student life activities, including ASCOD meetings, a student food pantry in partnership with FIND Foodbank, workshops, a campus bookstore with all your supply needs, and many other referral resources and services are available to help connect students with vital support systems. Lastly, to help students meet their educational goals, we offer day, evening, and weekend in-person and online tutoring and access to online library and learning resources. College of the Desert — Mecca/Thermal
Furthering the College's mission of providing greater access and higher education opportunities for residents at all ends of the Coachella Valley, College of the Desert opened its Mecca/Thermal Campus location in the Spring 2009 semester. The College of the Desert – Mecca/Thermal is located at 61120 Buchanan Street in Thermal. We are pleased to offer a variety of general education courses, counseling, and bilingual enrollment services support. College of the Desert — Palm Springs Temporary Campus
In the Spring 2018 semester, College of the Desert launched our first college site in Palm Springs (Temporary Campus) located at 1300 East Baristo Road, with further expansion planned in the coming years. Students can complete general education coursework and career and technical education programs. In addition to campus locations noted above, College of the Desert also offers a variety of dual and concurrent enrollment courses for our high school students through our Early College program in partnership with the three local school districts: Coachella Valley Unified School District, Desert Sands Unified School District, and Palm Springs Unified School District.
